About

About Me

Hi, I am Dus Mamud, a Full-Stack and Systems Developer based in India. I focus on building high-performance developer tools, media automation pipelines, and scalable backend infrastructure.

I am the architect behind the Dusyn Ecosystem, an open-source suite of developer utilities, API services, and media engines.

What I Build

My work revolves around developer productivity, systems engineering, and deterministic media rendering:

  • Reelcraft: An open-source CLI that automatically transforms code repositories into beat-synced, 60fps 9:16 vertical tech reels with audio downbeat alignment and AST brand extraction.
  • dbshift: A zero-downtime replication and migration utility designed for CockroachDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas clusters.
  • Media & Audio Downloaders: Robust, high-throughput CLI tools for YouTube and music streaming services supporting bulk queue processing, metadata tagging, and lossless audio streams.
  • Dusyn Platform: A unified web and API platform consolidating internal microservices and developer utilities.

Technical Stack & Philosophy

I prioritize minimal dependencies, strict type safety, clean concurrency models, and predictable production runtimes.

  • Languages: TypeScript, Go, Python, Kotlin, Dart, SQL
  • Backends & APIs: Node.js, Go (net/http, Chi), FastAPI, Hono
  • Databases & Caching: PostgreSQL, Redis, CockroachDB, Upstash, Supabase
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Docker, GitHub Actions, Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, Linux
  • Media & Graphics: Headless Chromium, FFmpeg, Canvas API, Web Audio API

About This Publication

This publication serves as an engineering notebook and deep-dive repository. Here, I write about:

  1. Real-world architecture decisions and performance trade-offs.
  2. Building deterministic media generation engines (60fps headless video, AST analysis).
  3. Low-latency backend systems in Go and Node.js.
  4. Database migration strategies and zero-downtime replication.
  5. Practical open-source tool development from zero to release.

Connect & Collaborate

I am always interested in collaborating on impactful open-source tools, technical discussions, and engineering roles.
